Bike and Paint summer camps!

A New Summer Camp for Girls age 8-12! These three day summer camps are a unique and fun collaboration between Sarah Uhl and YewFlow Bike Camps…. We designed these camps for girls to combine their love of biking and painting in Nature.

2023 dates and locations:

The camp will be offered three times this summer in three different locations:

June 12-14  - North Face Park, Carbondale

July 10-12 - Snowmass Town Park, Snowmass

August 7-9 - Coal Basin Ranch, Redstone

Camp Format:

Camp Format: 8:30am-3:30pm, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday.  Locations vary throughout the valley.

The Bike + Paint Summer camp is a unique offering for Girls age 8-12 who love art and bikes, being outside, and having fun! The bike and paint camp will be offered three times during the Summer and will be in a different location each time. All rider levels are welcome!

These Summer camps are a partnership between Sarah Uhl and YewFlow. YewFlow is a Roaring Fork Valley bike business that offers riders in our Valley bike skills training with an equal focus on mental and physical development. Bike and Paint campers will enjoy earning from one of YewFlow’s female bike coaches as well as art and creative empowerment lessons from Sarah Uhl.

The focus of bike and paint camp is to create a fun riding environment while enjoying and connecting with nature through art! The day will be spent learning riding fundamentals and empowering everyone to be comfortable and confident on their bike. Campers will be using watercolor paints and a field journal to capture the surroundings. No previous painting experience necessary! This camp will cater to both beginers and experienced riders. Each camper will receive a creativity kit with their art supplies, included in the registration fee. 

Please Bring:

Any bike you are comfortable riding, helmet, closed toes shoes for riding and shoes you are comfortable hiking in, a blanket to sit on and a backpack to carry your art supplies.  Lunch, snacks, water bottle, and sunscreen.
