Fall Watercolor Workshop at Joy and Wylde :: Landscape Study

$150.00

Landscape Study Watercolor Workshop with Sarah Uhl

Saturday September 20th, 2025 at 4-6:30pm in Redstone, Colorado.

Join Redstone local artist, Sarah Uhl, for a playful watercolor study at Joy and Wylde while sipping wine and relaxing in the peaceful riverside sculpture garden.

Over the course of 2.5 hours we will break down the basics of watercolor painting with an ode to the beauty found in Nature.  Workshop participants will be gifted a beautiful handmade paint kit from Greenleaf Blueberry and all additional supplies needed for the workshop. Joy will be serving everyone wine, cocktail, or mocktail of your choice and a luxurious charcuterie board.

Sarah is a self taught artist that loves sharing the power of creative practice with beginner and experience painters alike.  No previous painting experience necessary!  This workshop will revolve around a theme, or a “study” giving participants the opportunity to connect and interoperate the class’s theme in their own way with step by step guidance.

Joy & Wylde is a boutique store, gallery and cafe nestled in the Redstone Historic District of Colorado.

September 20th Theme: Landscape Study

Setting is everything. Perched beside the Crystal River surrounded by red rock cliffs, yellow aspen leaves, and the sounds of Nature turning over in the Fall Season, we will take in this incredible sanctuary through the lens of our paints. Sarah will provide basic instruction on how to approach landscape painting- breaking it down into a step by step process while leaving lots of room for everyone’s unique creative styles to emerge.
