AMERICAN ALPINE CLUB MAP

The American Alpine Club is celebrating 25,000 members! They hired me to create a unique map of the United States featuring 25 iconic climbing areas. You can see the final map and get your own copy by joining the American Alpine Club.

INTRODUCING THE GREEN LINE

I am launching a line of zero waste products and sharing my experiences with zero waste initiatives on a new blog called Waste Less :: Love More . The Green line will consist of water bottles and insulated mugs from Klean Kanteen and bamboo utensils from To-Go Wear. You can find them in the shop.

RECENT LIVE ART PERFORMANCE RAISES $3,500 FOR WATER

I painted live during the Roaring Fork Conservancy’s River Rendezvous fundraising event and my painting of the Frying Pan River was auctioned off for $3,500. 100% of proceeds benefit water conservation efforts in my hometown watershed.

IN OUR HANDS, AN INTERACTIVE EXHIBIT, LAUNCHES AT MOUNTAINFILM IN TELLURIDE

I teamed up with fellow artist Anna Brones, on an interactive art exhibit called In Our Hands. The exhibit was showcased at Telluride MountainFilm on May 24th, inviting Festival guests into a visual exploration of curiosity and the ripple effect of our actions.  We asked participants all to respond to the same prompt: What will you be responsible for? We are currently compiling images of the responses and look forward to sharing the diversity of answers collected.

CHACO WILL UTILIZE MY ARTWORK ON NEW LINE OF PRINTSHOP SANDALS IN 2020

I partnered with Chaco to design a series of new Printshop sandals that will debut in 2020. My artwork was utilized to showcase the creative potential of Chaco’s new Printshop, a "design your own” feature that allows anyone to upload their own artwork or photos onto the Chaco strap. OUTDOOR RESEARCH UTILIZES MY ARTWORK ON A “GIVEBACK” ACCESSORY LINE

I worked with Outdoor Research to develop this line of accessories that gives back to our favorite public lands through a donation to the Conservation Alliance. OR is producing these seven accessories by uniquely cutting them from fabric printed with my Flora and Fauna of the USA map. What a treat to see my tribute to our beautiful public lands printed on such unique fabrics! The Wildlands Collection is available this Spring and Summer wherever Outdoor Research gear is sold. IMAGINE CLIMATE PANEL DISCUSSION SET FOR MARCH 13th IN ASPEN, COLORADO

I will be taking part in The Imagine Climate celebration, part of the Community Office for Resource Efficiency’s 25th anniversary in Aspen, Colorado. CORE will be hosting a panel discussion on March 13 called “Future Energy: a technologist, a climate scientist and an artist walk into a bar.” The panel discussion will feature Bryan Hannegan, president and CEO of Holy Cross Energy; Roger Pulwarty, senior science advisor for climate, NOAA; and myself. PROTECT OUR WINTERS FUNDRAISER A SUCCESS AT WINTER OUTDOOR RETAILER

3 days of live art and activation with Protect Our Winters was an incredible success. I was able to attend a climate training to increase my knowledge of the latest climate research and join POW’s creative alliance so we can continue to work together in the future. KINDNESS JETPACK LAUNCH

During the 2018 holiday season I found myself itching to produce a few sellable goods that would directly carry my ethos. I created Kindness Jetpacks so more people would be inspired to spread tiny gestures of love and appreciation throughout the course of a normal day.
